Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a SOX Audit Fresher. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and internal auditing processes. The SOX Audit Fresher will work under the guidance of senior auditors and managers to support the organization’s efforts in maintaining effective internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Specific Skills
  1. Strong academic performance and a demonstrated interest in auditing, compliance, or internal controls.
  2. Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting processes.
  3. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  4. Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Responsible For
  1. Support senior auditors in conducting SOX compliance assessments, including risk identification, process walkthroughs, and control testing.
  2. Perform testing of controls to evaluate their effectiveness in mitigating risks and ensuring accuracy of financial reporting.
  3. Gain familiarity with auditing standards, including the COSO framework and PCAOB standards, and apply them in audit engagements.
  4. Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to gather information, clarify audit issues, and ensure timely completion of audit tasks.
  5. Participate in training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance knowledge of auditing principles, SOX compliance, and related areas.
