We are seeking a proactive and skilled professional to join our team as an Accounting Team Lead. This role is responsible for overseeing a team of accounting professionals, ensuring the accuracy of financial records, and facilitating efficient accounting processes while providing leadership and guidance to the team.

Specific Skills

Responsible For

Lead and manage a team of accounting professionals, ensuring the timely and accurate completion of daily accounting tasks and financial reports.
Oversee the reconciliation of accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Monitor team performance, providing feedback, coaching, and support to ensure high levels of productivity and quality.
Assist in the development and implementation of accounting processes, procedures, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Collaborate with other departments to support the achievement of financial goals and objectives.
Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and other accounting transactions prepared by the team.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and audits as needed.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to implement changes.

Educational Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced certifications such as ACCA, CA CMA, CPA or equivalent are advantageous.

Experience Requirements

4+ years of experience in accounting, with prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
